What is the WI?
Well yes, we do sing Jerusalem and yes some of us do make jam and bake cakes, do crafts and knit, but this is only part of what we do.
Did you know that the WI is the biggest voluntary women's group in the country.
With new groups joining all the time.
That it has a voice in Government and Campaigns on issues that matter to its members and the wider community!
So if you are 16 and over and you would like to find out more, why not come along to a meeting, guests are very welcome. We meet at 10am, in The Centre at Mawsley, on the second Wednesday of the month. The cost is £3 to include refreshments.
